Bathroom Renovation
The Existing bathroom was perfectly functional.  Aesthetically...well, polished brass and chrome mixed with an unappealing combination of gray, green, and white tile - it wasn't cutting it.
Modeled after a smaller renovation done in a previous house in MA, the standalone sinks, walk-in shower, and separate toilet closet make this new bathroom an oasis in a desert of chaos.
Geared up to Help - Day 1. Gotta be a dream of any kid. No Going Back now - Commitment!

Lots of Inlay work.  This section is intended to look like a waterfall cascading down over the stub wall. His-n-hers Towel Bars. Every tile started off as a 20x20 - Every single tile in the running bond pattern was cut.

Princess's Bed
It had to have Flowers, it had to be Pink. With that comprehensive guidance from the prospective owner, I constructed this suitable bed of MDF, Plywood, and Latex Paints.   After entering via the grand staircase, the princess slumbers till dawn.   Literally. She wakes up way too early. I think I was hoping she might actually stay in bed longer if she liked it enough. No dice.

The Go-Kart

The "3 Horsepower" snoblower engine I had kept for 3 years for this project wasn't going to cut it. Made from Galvanized conduit, engineering odds and ends, and some genuine go-kart parts, this baby hits 27 MPH with nearly 300 lbs of Dad and Kids (assumes a mild tailwind). The Power Plant is a 6.5Hp 4-stroke from Harbor Freight (inexpensive at $120, I thought).  All that power is transferred by a friction clutch to the rear axle. While solid, the axle is not keyed to the rear right tire (thanks for the suggestion, Dad).
