Ripping on the tablesaw is a basic task.
Be sure to keep sideward pressure against the fence.
Spend time adjusting your tablesaw to make cutting accurate:
Adjust the saw blade to be parallel to the miter slot.
Adjust the fence parallel to the blade
Wax the tablesaw surface every few weeks: you won't believe how the wood glides through the blade!
