These chisels are the Finest Tools in my Shop.  They are made by this old Japanese guy from fine hard steel and iron from salvaged shipwreck parts and the like. 

At least that's what they say.  I guess there could be a machine cranking them out at 1000 per hour. 

Actually, each is a unique work of art.  Someday, I'd love to go over and meet him, maybe he'd show me how to make one.

"how could you need so many chisels?!" I can hear someone ask.

How many is simply not the point.

Another frequently used tool: the block plane. 

I probably pick up this tool more than any other during the course of a day in the shop.

Fits nice in the hand. Very versatile tool.

Clamps: If I had a hundred of these it would be a good start:

You can never have enough clamps!

The leftmost clamps were used by my great grandfather.  I keep them there mostly for sentimental value - the red clamps to the right work great - Made by Bessey.
